NEW ORLEANS (AP) - French companies will visit Louisiana later this month to offer their help in dealing with the oil spill now fouling the Gulf of Mexico.
The French American Chamber of Commerce in New Orleans says a group of French companies will visit and offer their help. The chamber of commerce says France is 1 of 12 countries the U.S. government is allowing to work on cleanup efforts.
French American Chamber of Commerce President Donald A. Hoffman said French companies have extensive experience dealing with oil spills and cleaning up marshes.
