    CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico (KALB News Channel 5)--Dangerous Major Hurricane Odile is closing in on the southern tip of Baja California. The storm, on its currently trajectory, will most likely bring extensive wind damage, in excess of 100 mph, and storm surge to the area later tonight. The storm could also bring 5-10 inches of rainfall with some isolated amounts as high as 15 inches.     Many residents across central Louisiana are enjoying the break from the heat today. With an overcast sky and cooler air being brought down by northerly winds, highs didn't climb out of the 60s in most places. That is some 20-25 degrees cooler than we were two days ago and some twenty degrees below our seasonal average! Tonight will be cool as well and if the clouds can begin to clear out through the overnight, lows could sneak into the lower 60s in some places.Tomorrow will be a pleasant day....More >>
