(KALB) - As of the 10 p.m. update on Saturday, October 7th, Hurricane Nate has maximum sustained winds of 85 mph, with higher gusts. It is moving off to the North at 20 mph.
Its current location is at latitude 29.9 north and longitude 89.1 west.
Tropical Storm and Hurricane warnings are currently out along the gulf coast spanning from Southcentral Louisiana coast all the way east to the Panhandle of Florida at this time as Nate is quickly approaching the coastline.
The landfall looks to be late Saturday night likely along the Mississippi coastline. Rain and wind impacts to Cenla are slim.
