Man arrested for theft of games in Tioga

TIOGA, La. (RPSO) - On January 2, deputies responded to Tioga in reference to a report of a theft.

Upon arrival, the victim told deputies that on the day before, a neighbor, identified as Dustin Clay McKnight, had been allowed into the victim’s residence to borrow some movies. The next day, the victim noticed some PlayStation 3 games were missing.

The case was turned over to Tioga Detectives for further investigation. It was learned that the games were sold to a local game store in Pineville.

Detectives were able to obtain evidence linking the games to the suspect McKnight.

On January 4, detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for McKnight for Theft <$300 and later that day, McKnight was located and arrested on the active warrant.

McKnight was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on the warrant and later released on a $250 bond.
