BATON ROUGE, La. (KALB) - Media outlets in Baton Rouge are reporting that Senator John Kennedy said that Governor John Bel Edwards should resign from office.

The comment came Monday morning as Kennedy spoke on KPEL radio in Acadiana.
Kennedy said he was tired of Edwards' blaming former governor Bobby Jindal for the state budget problems, and called for Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser to "take a shot" as governor.
