He said Leesville had the first truck on scene followed by Dry Fork, Slagle, Simpson, New Llano, and Anacoco. No one was inside the house and no major injuries reported according to Chief Busby. He said up to 20 personnel were involved and contained the blaze after about three hours. The fire was a total loss.

"We drained three pumpers which hold a thousand gallons of water within the first maybe 15-20 minutes of being here. Then we started using our tankers which hold about three thousand gallons and we went through them probably within 30 minutes. After that, the fire was still raging pretty good.

The State Fire Marshalls Office was on the scene conducting interviews Thursday morning. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Firefighters would like to thank Annette Brown for bringing water, Gatorade, and snacks afterward.
