ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The murder trial is still set to begin on November 6 for Camryn Lasyone, one of the four teens charged with first degree murder for the beating death of Michael Butler at a Motel 6 in Alexandria last August.
Lasyone was in court on Tuesday for a pretrial hearing. His trial date was already set before this pretrial hearing.
According to Assistant District Attorney Jermaine Harris, Tuesday’s pretrial was set just in case there was anything new to add before the trial in November. There was not, so the case is continuing as planned.
Lasyone is currently out on a $500,000 bond that his family posted and is currently living in Winn Parish with family and under electronic bracelet monitoring.
Trials have yet to begin for two other suspects charged in the case - Akeeley Blade and Travis Weston.
