Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Hineston. Burial will follow at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to the Dreams Come True Foundation of Louisiana, which grants wishes to children and young adults with life-threatening diseases. To donate, visit the related links section of our website. Last year, DCT and local state troopers helped surprise the 14-year-old with her own library. The space was decorated and stocked with books and art supplies. KALB was there to capture the surprise.
