ALEXANDRIA-- Bolton High School made history by being the first ever high school in CENLA to host a wrestling meet. Bolton is in their first year with a wrestling program. The team has a total of 12 wrestlers that compete, eleven boys and even one girl on the team.

"Bridging the gap, everybody wrestles in the state of Louisiana except the central part of the state, for me it means a lot," said head coach and athleteic director Jason Lachiaca, "this is one of the greatest victories in Bolton history".

Their next home meet will be on December 2nd as they host Central High School from Baton Rouge.
