Cougars Searching for Hope

DRY PRONG (KALB) -- Whether it has been injuries or heartbreaking losses, it's safe to say that the first half of the 2017 football season has not been ideal for Grant High School. But to the Cougars' (1-4) credit, they refuse to throw in the towel as they prepare to open district 3-4A play at home on Friday against Tioga.

"We still have the opportunity to be 6-4 and have a winning season," said Grant coach Freddie Hallman. "Obviously, you want to win at home and this Friday night we're at home, so in spite of all that's gone on through the course of this year with injuries and losses and how we lost, we've got to come out here each week and find a reason to be out here."
