Guice to enter NFL draft, forego senior season

BATON ROUGE -- Derrius Guice is heading to the NFL. That announcement coming via a heartfelt video message from the running back and Baton Rouge-native on Wednesday.

In his three seasons at LSU, Guice rushed for 3,074 yards and 29 touchdowns. He entered his junior season with high expectations following the departure of Leonard Fournette. However, an assortment of injuries hampered Guice, but he still ran 1,251 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Guice is the latest draft-eligible Tiger to enter the NFL Draft, joining defensive backs Kevin Toliver and Donte Jackson, offensive lineman Toby Weathersby and linebacker Arden Key.
