BALL (KALB) -- In Tioga High School's first four games of the 2017 football season, the outcome had already been decided by the start of the fourth quarter. That was not the case though for the Indians (4-1) last week against Pineville. Trailing by eight in the final period of play, Tioga outscored the Rebels 20-6 to pull out the 35-29 comeback victory.
Not only was it a big win over a class 5A opponent, but it also served as a morale-booster heading into district play this week, because now the Indians feel like they are battle tested. Something they hope pays off for the rest of the season, starting with their trip to Grant on Friday.
