LOS ANGELES (AP) - Seth Meyers regularly blends bad news with comedy on his nightly talk show. As the host of Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, he'll be setting the tone for Hollywood's awards season as the sexual harassment crisis continues spreading through the industry and beyond.
The comedian said he knew what he was getting into, since he signed on after the scandal broke last fall.
He said the creative team from "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is helping him with his Globes material, and they excel at addressing current events "with as much humor and accuracy as possible."
The Globes are familiar territory for Meyers, who contributed material to the years Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted.
The 75th Golden Globes will be broadcast live on NBC.
