Amount Raised in Avoyelles Parish: 34,142 lbs or 17 tons – 12 schools participated

The News Channel 5 Christmas Cheer Food Drive was a huge success again this year! With the help of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and the students of Rapides, Avoyelles and Vernon Parishes, we raised a Food Drive Record of 110 tons of food for the needy. Thanks to everyone that participated! Hope to see you again next year.
