In Rapides parish, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Metro-Narcotics Division thinks it may have netted a major player in the local cocaine traffic. It comes after a bust at a home on Isabella Drive around 10pm last night.
34-year-old Derrick Lynn Johnson of Alexandria faces four charges including the manufacturing, possession and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Detectives say Johnson had over nine ounces of crack on him which has a street value of more than $10,000.
Agents also found a woman and three small children in Johnson’s home. Child services will follow up on that.
