Grilling Classes offered this Summer

NATCHITOCHES - Bon appetite with friends once again every week in June with cooking classes under the instruction of Chef Ben Fidelak, owner of Maison Louisiane Catering & Events. 

The four-part cooking series will focus primarily on outdoor grilling and will offer instruction on skills, preparation and presentation with an emphasis on entertaining. Grilling classes are open to anyone with a love of food and those who are interested in new grilling techniques.  Classes will be held at Chef Fidelak’s personal residence on beautiful Cane River Lake in Natchitoches.

Cuisine that students can expect to prepare include char grilled oysters on the half shell, grilled lobster, jerk pork tenderloin with caramelized pineapple & papaya relish, grilled cinnamon rum bananas, fire roasted corn on the cob and much, much more!!  Students will not only learn how to prepare and cook these items, but will learn plating and garnishing techniques that are certain to win your guests approval!

Cooking classes are offered as a Monday night series or Tuesday night series and begin at 6 p.m. and run approximately two hours.  Dinner will be served.  The fee is $150 per person for instruction, recipes and gourmet dinners and is limited to 12 students.
