The Alexandria Police Dept. has released a report detailing a major financial crime.  An office manager is charged with forgery for stealing half a million dollars from a doctor’s practice at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

The suspect’s name is Donna Kerry, from Woodworth.  Right now she’s out on bond ($167,500).

Ms. Kerry worked for Dr. Tommie Granger, a cardiovascular surgeon. 

Mark Vilar is an Alexandria lawyer representing the doctor, he tells News Channel 5, he’s consulting with a forensic accountant to determine exactly how much was taken and by what means.
