BATON ROUGE - Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced appointments to the Louisiana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
The Louisiana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners serves to regulate physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who wish to practice in Louisiana.
According to statute, the board includes physical therapists who must have practiced for no less than three years, one of whom must be selected from a list of nominations submitted by the Louisiana Hospital Association and one physician submitted by the Louisiana State Medical Society. JoAnn Robichaux was nominated by the Louisiana Hospital Association. Michael Dole, M.D., was nominated by the Louisiana State Medical Society.
Appointments to the Louisiana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners:
Michael Dole, M.D., of Alexandria, is currently a physiatrist and owns a private practice in Alexandria.
Jerry Jones, of Cloutierville, currently works at Guidroz Physical Therapy in Natchitoches and has been practicing physical therapy for eight years.
Al C. Moreau, of Baton Rouge, is currently the director and partner at Moreau Physical Therapy and has been practicing physical therapy for more than thirty years.
JoAnn Robichaux, of New Orleans, is currently the inpatient rehab manager at Ochsner Health Center in New Orleans and has been practicing physical therapy for twenty-one years.
