The Natchitoches Police Department arrested a Natchitoches man in connection with an incident that occurred on April 25, 2008. 31 year old Marlon Brisco of 319 East third St. in Natchitoches turned himself in to police and was charged with 1 count of Attempted Second Degree Murder following the investigation into a Hit & Run. Dmarquis Demery, the victim, became involved in a verbal argument with Brisco around 03:30 AM on April 25th in the 600 block of Jackson Dr in Natchitoches. Demery had walked away from Brisco when he was struck by a van driven by Brisco. Demery was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center by POV for treatment. Brisco was placed into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
