The 2008 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band Selection Tour visited Tioga High School to select a student-marching musician to join their team.

Eric Griffith, a drummer and senior at Tioga High School, won the selection process.  The four U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour teams are traveling across the country from early October to early December to announce all 84 players and 91 marching musicians to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is the premier high school football game in the country, annually setting new attendance records for itself every January in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The game, which features the best high school football players in the nation, has helped launch the careers of Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Adrian Peterson, Brady Quinn and many other college and NFL stars.  The game also crowns the U.S. Army Player of the Year.
