RAPIDES PARISH, La. (RPSO) - On March 9, Deputies received a complaint of a theft of a motor vehicle from the Pinehill Road area in Pineville. The victim stated that he had allowed a friend, Anthony David Hollier, to stay at his residence for approximately one week.
The victim stated he awoke early that morning and discovered his vehicle was missing from his residence. Hollier was also missing, who had no means of transportation. Deputies took the information for the report, launched a search for the vehicle and Hollier and located the vehicle later that day in Alexandria.
The vehicle was released back to the owner but no contact was made with Hollier. The case was turned over to detectives from the Tioga Sub-station for further investigation. They determined a debit card was also missing and being used locally. Detectives were able to verify Hollier was a suspect by viewing video footage from several locations.
On March 15, Detectives obtained warrants for Anthony David Hollier for one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and four counts of unauthorized use of an access card. On June 14, Officers with the Alexandria Police Department made contact with Hollier on an unrelated matter and he was arrested on the active warrant, as well as other unrelated warrants.
Hollier remains in the Rapides Parish Detention center at the time of this release where no bond has been set on the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
