Posted: Updated:

Natchtioches Police have made an arrest in yesterday's shooting that left two men injured.

17 year old Christopher Washington is facing charges of attempted first degree murder, attempted armed robbery and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.  Police say Washington admitted to pulling the trigger and says it was all the result of a drug deal gone bad.  Washington told officers he entered Joseph Metoyer's home with the intent to steal drugs and money.  That prompted detectives to search Metoyer's home.  Once inside, police say they found numerous drugs including marijuana, crack cocaine, and hydrocodone.

Justin Metoyer was taken into custody in connection to the drugs.  He faces charges of obstruction of justice, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.  Washington faces charges of attempted first degree murder, attempted armed robbery and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.

Both men are being held in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.  Joseph Metoyer is still hospitalized and being treated for his injuries.
