Good Morning Weekend Drivers! Mark Klein here writing from News Channel 5. As of now, both 30 Min Specials have aired without a hitch, so be expecting a third episode soon... That's right. A TRILOGY! We'll be piecing together all the extreme rides and attractions we experienced in the Smokies into a 3rd installment, Weekend Drive: Extreme!
Another fun addition to the show is the arrival of a new tool for entertainment. We have received a brand-spankin' new Helmet Cam! Its the size of a cell phone and shoots HD like real life! (High Definition real life that is...) I cannot wait till Weekend Drive goes Skydiving with this thing!
Also in other news, If you haven't seen already, the last Weekend Drive to date was a spotlight on the Louisiana Peach Fest in Ruston. If you don't have Plans for the 24 and 25 of June, I highly recommend attending. Percy Sledge... Do I need to say more?
Finally, on a funnier note I leave you with a blooper from our Pigeon Forge episode. Climbing up a "mountain" from the final shot of the show, I forgot that we were still filming... Wow the mic picks up a lot...
