Leesville Attempted Murder

An attempted murder suspect is behind bars Thursday thanks in part, to a tip given to the Leesville Police Department. Police say 23-year-old D'andre Mills was involved in an argument with another woman on January 22nd while holding a firearm. Investigators tell us he discharged the firearm and ran away, no one was hurt. A tip received by Leesville Police helped locate Mills. He admitted to shooting the weapon and is being held at the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office on $50,000 bond.
