A single-vehicle crash killed a woman from Boyce, LA on Friday afternoon, February 17, 2012.
Troopers responded to the crash
around 4:30 pm, which occurred on LA Highway 28 at Brown's Creek Road.
The
crash involved a 2003 Ford pickup, driven by 38-year-old Aimee Clark.
Investigators say the Ford was westbound on LA Highway 28 when Clark lost control and
exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway,
the vehicle collided with a culvert before overturning.
Clark was not wearing her seatbelt
and was ejected.
She was transported to Rapides Regional Medical
Center where she was pronounced dead.
Routine toxicology tests are pending.
The crash remains under investigation.
