
The No. 25 LSU softball team learned Thursday that five additional games have been picked up for television during the 2012 season. In total, the Tigers will have 11 regular season contests on TV.
Cox Sports Television will carry five games in conjunction with LSU Sports Properties. Games on CST include South Alabama (Feb. 25), Ole Miss (April 20 & 21) and Georgia (April 28 & 29). The quintet of games will all keep their original start times. CST is cable channel 37 and available in HD on channel 737 in the Baton Rouge market.
LSU will turn its attention to the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nev. over the weekend. There, the Tigers will meet DePaul [Saturday - 11 a.m. CT] and Cal State Northridge [Saturday - 1:15 p.m. CT] followed by No. 3 California [Sunday - 1:15 p.m. CT] and Utah State [Sunday - 3:30 p.m. CT].
