The jury trial for Winn Parish Sheriff, A.D. Bodie Little began Tuesday in federal court in Shreveport.
Little and eleven others were indicted back in August on drug trafficking charges related to the organized distribution of more than 50 grams of meth in Winn Parish and the Shreveport area.
If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years in prison with a maximum sentence of life in prison.
He also faces up to a $10 million fine.
