A former Winn Parish Sheriff has died.
James Edward "Buddy" Jordan passed away Tuesday morning.
Jordan served as the sheriff for Winn Parish for 16 years.
He's survived by his wife, Martha, of 45 years, his two sons, and several grandchildren.
Buddy Jordan was 69-years-old.
Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 24, at First Baptist Church of Winnfield.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield.
Visitation is at Southern Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and also on Friday in the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
