ALEXANDRIA, La. - Following Thursday's brief rain storm, city officials from Leesville cleared several areas of damage and assist power companies in restoring power for residents.

Wesley Lane, along with Prairie, Milton, and Herring streets were affected by fallen trees during the storm.

According to officials, the Leesville Fire Department responded to each area and provided site security, while public works crews cleared blocked roads and gathered debris from the fallen trees.

The power has been restored to all parts of Leesville. The power outages were brief and localized to only a few parts of the city during this time.

As of Thursday afternoon, city officials also said all affected streets have been reopened and are safe for use.
