ALEXANDRIA, LA.- In less than two years Big Fish Presentations has already gone world wide...from Louisiana to the land down under. They design presentations and videos for clients like Raising Canes Chicken and Cabela's Outdoors.. the CEO -21-year-old college student Kenny Nguyen--is already at the head of the class.
"At the end of the day it really helps out the most, because I know a young fresh perspective and us young entrepreneurs are going to be the ones setting the trends in the future so how about you ride the train now so when you get to that level you'll be riding it," he says.
Nguyen and some of his friends started from scratch after hearing what he described as the world's most boring presentation by a fortune 500 exec during a class at LSU.
And the rest is history.
"I guess you could say it was kind of like Facebook. It was a bunch of guys in a small little office that we got at the incubator for $25 a month and it was just us staying up all night working on stuff until we hired more people," says Nguyen.
He's here helping show CenLa entrepreneurs how to turn their businesses into success stories like his at the 'Startup Weekend.'
"The hardest part is taking that first step. It's a scary enterprise and so helping them overcome that. and he'll be one of many mentors and subject matter experts that'll be there to help people overcome obstacles," says business coach Leeann Murphy.
These guys....hope to be one day, like this guy...
"I think it's definitely a great idea to just make a leap,: says Nguyen.
And there it is.... hook, line, and sinker from the man who's a big fish himself.
