Police Juror's Wife Dead At 69

ALEXANDRIA, La. - It's a sad day for the Fountaine family.

Former Rapides Parish teacher Theresa Fountaine died early Wednesday morning after a long battle with cancer.

She was the wife to Rapides Parish Police Juror Theodore Fountaine.

Her death comes just one month after Theodore lost his daughter from cancer.

Progressive Funeral Home on Broadway Avenue will provide arrangements, but there is no time or date set for her funeral service.

Theresa Fountaine was 69 years old.
