A Leesville teacher has resigned amid accusations she tried to run over another woman with her car.
Monique Hoke, 33, was charged with aggravated assault and criminal mischief, when police say she attempted to run over another woman with her car.
Tuesday night, Hoke called us and said she wanted to meet with us to give her side of the story, but she canceled that interview.
Hoke was a math teacher at Leesville Junior High.
Wednesday, we caught up with the Vernon Parish superintendent, who told us she had resigned.
