ALEXANDRIA, La. - Investigators say an electrical problem is what triggered a fire at a Verizon Wireless store in Alexandria.
Crews were called out to the store on North Boulevard just after 11 p.m. Thursday.
The fire began in the showroom. The store suffered moderate damage from the fire, but crews say there was extensive smoke damage done to the establishment.
Verizon will set up a temporary office in the parking lot for their customers while repairs are made.
As for the Five Guys restaurant next door, it's okay and was open for business Friday.
