ALEXANDRIA, La. - An Alexandria woman is behind bars and accused of abandoning her child while she broke into a relative's home.
According to Alexandria police, 45-year-old Tammy Mylott broke into a family member's home on Virginia Avenue.
After the investigation, police say they found that Mylott left her toddler home alone during the break-in.
She's charged with entry of an inhabitated dwelling and child desertion. Her bond is set at $10,500.
