Love The Locals Sales Day June 16th - KALB-TV News Channel 5 & CBS 2

Love The Locals Sales Day June 16th

Posted: Updated:

ALEXANDRIA, La. - We appreciate your partnership in the NewsChannel 5 Love the Locals campaign along with your commitment to bring greater value to our local business community.

The Love the Locals campaign is about focusing our community members on keeping their dollars right here in central Louisiana!

We have an idea on how to focus your customers on keeping their dollars local for Father's Day.  We are creating a Shop Saturday Love the Locals Day on June 16 – the day before Father's Day!

This one day sales event is an incentive for your customers to shop Love the Locals partners.

We will throw the weight of our promotional campaign behind the event and your participation is of no additional cost to you.

The Shop Saturday Love the Locals Day on June 16 will be promoted on NBC, CBS and online just like your Love the Locals package.

All you have to do to participate is create a coupon which will be listed on the www.kalb.com  splash page!  Viewers will be able to print the page with the listing of all the participants for deals offered.

The best way to make this work is to have a "call to action."

Here are some examples:

  • Buy one, get one half-off.
  • An additional 10 percent off all items by a single manufacturer or supplier.
  • A free appetizer or dessert with purchase of a meal.
  • Free non-alcoholic beverages between the hours of 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Children eat free!
  • Free ice cream!
  • Whatever would suit your business!

Again, we will be planning to heavily promote this event on all of our media platforms including coverage in our news programming.

Please contact your account executive right away if you would like to participate and look for other future projects from your KALB-TV Love the Locals support team.

This is just one more way we are working to KEEP IT LOCAL for our Love our Locals Partners!
