ALEXANDRIA, La. - An Alexandria woman is behind bars after she was accused of leaving her child alone in a home while she robbed someone.
Alexandria police say 21-year-old Norisha Roberts was at a home in the 2200 block of East Sycamore Street when she and another person robbed the man living there.
Police say during the robbery, Roberts left her toddler alone in the home.
Roberts' charges include simple robbery and child desertion. The bond is set at just over $12,000.
