ALEXANDRIA, La. - Rapides Parish schools are one step closer to finding its next superintendent.
An advisory committee is meeting Thursday night for the superintendent search procedures.
The committee hopes to discuss and decide the procedures and time tables for the search process for the next superintendent.
The current superintendent, Dr. Gary Jones, has a contract that end Dec. 31.
