PINEVILLE, La. – Police have charged a man who was shot by an officer at a busy Pineville intersection in April.
Pineville police have charged Carter Rhodes, Jr. with attempted first-degree murder of a police officer.
Rhodes was allegedly shot after police say he charged at the officer with a knife. The incident occurred on Hwy 28 East under the Pineville Expressway.
An internal investigation by the Pineville Police Department cleared the officer, and now the case goes to the District Attorney's office for review.
