RAPIDES PARISH, LA - One man is in the hospital and two others are behind bars after a shooting early this morning near Rapides Station.
The event took place just after midnight on Jimmy Brown Rd. Investigators know that the three men were in some type of altercation in the middle of the street. Shots were fired and one of the men was hit. He was then taken to a local hospital where he remains in serious condition. Deputies have arrested Robert Leblanc and Daniel Davis. Both men are charged with one count of attempted second degree murder and drug possession. Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting and more arrests could be pending.
