Another year of Steubenville South will be kicking off Friday right here in Alexandria.
This year the conference is expecting more than 3,000 people from across the southern region.
The convention and visitor's bureau told us that the event brings in more than $1 million to Cenla's economy each summer.
Attendees say that they have grown to love the event throughout the years.
The first Steubenville conference originated in Steubenville, Ohio, and it's been hosted here in Alexandria since 1995.
