Join Susan G. Komen as they host the 3rd Annual Komen CenLa Race for the Cure® on October 20, 2012 in Downtown Alexandria.
This 5k run/walk helps raise funds to provide life-saving breast cancer support to thousands of women in Central Louisiana. One hundred percent of the net proceeds will help fund Komen's promise to end breast cancer forever. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will stay here is the seven parishes of Central Louisiana to fund breast health education, screening and treatment. The remaining twenty-five percent is earmarked for national research.
