WINNFIELD, La. - A woman is behind bars Tuesday night after she was accused of stabbing and killing her boyfriend.
Officers say that they were called out to the Rockwood Apartments for a disturbance late Saturday night in Winnfield.
Police say Trevin Aaron, 25, of Colfax was stabbed in the neck by Lateshia Rena Evans, 24, of Winnfield when he arrived at her apartment to get his clothes during an argument.
Aaron was taken to a local hospital where he later died, according to police.
Evans is being held in the Winn Parish jail with a $200,000 bond.
