ALEXANDRIA, La. - Deciding which beach to go to in summer can be difficult, but we have a list that just might help make that decision for you.
The Natural Resources Defense Council list has released its Best Beaches list.
Twelve beaches received a "5 star" rating from the group, including Alabama's Gulf Shores Public Beach.
The beaches are rated on factors like water quality and safety practices.
The Grand Isle State Park Beach received the highest rating in Louisiana with three stars.
