ALEXANDRIA, La. - The Town of Montgomery boil advisory was lifted Tuesday morning , according to the Department of Health and Hospitals. The water in the town in Grant Parish is on. Over the weekend, a major pipe burst leaving the town dry.
However, Avoyelles Parish remains under a boil advisory.
Residents of Plauchevile are still under a boil advisory, according to the Village of Plauchevile Water System Friday.
Mayor Mona Rabalais said the advisory is in effect until further notice and was issued due to a break in the main water line.
In addition, a boil advisory has been lifted for Brouillette Water Systems after a power failure at the well site in Cheneyville.
