ALEXANDRIA, La. - In Lecompte Thursday, a special Olympic style-ceremony was held for students at Camp Carter.
The students received medals for their participation in the Camp Carter summer program at the Carter C. Raymond Elementary School. The medal ceremony served as a reward for the campers' hard work and participation.
The summer program also hosted more than a dozen college students from LSUA who volunteer to help make reading fun.
