LC Offer Denied, Report Says

Posted: Updated:

ALEXANDRIA, La. - Louisiana College's School of Law is not out of the woods yet.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has denied LC's accreditation to offer juris doctorate degrees, according to a report issued earlier this week.

SACS says that LC did not provide an acceptable plan to ensure that it has the capability to comply with the standards expected by the state.

LC plans to respond to the report and hope to move forward with opening the school of law by August of next year.
