ALEXANDRIA, La. - An Alexandria man has died in a hospital Monday evening after being hit by a car, and police need your help to find the person responsible.
Officers from the Alexandria Police Department say it happened at the intersection of Eddie Williams and Kings Lane around 5 a.m. Monday morning.
Police say that the 47-year-old man was struck by a vehicle, and then that car took off. The victim was taken to the hospital later died.
Police also said the driver was probably driving a maroon Ford Crown Victoria. It has damage to the front and passenger side on the vehicle, and is missing the passenger-side mirror.
