ALEXANDRIA, La. - Friday the 13th is typically a day spent avoiding black cats and ladders, but for Chick-fil-A and its customers, the day will show spots of good luck.
Next Friday, Chick-fil-A will thank its customers with a free meal as part of its annual Cow Appreciation Day celebration.
On that day, Chick-fil-A is promising a free meal to anyone dressed "head to hoof" in cow attire and a free entrée to those with at least a few spots. Customers can visit any Chick-fil-A restaurant nationwide for breakfast, lunch or dinner to participate in the celebration.
According to officials, in 2011, nearly 600,000 people participated in this event.
