ALEXANDRIA, La. - Congratulations to Chelsea Hayes of Louisiana Tech, a New Orleans native, who is heading to the 2012 Olympics in London after qualifying in the women's long jump.
Hayes came in second at the Olympic trials after a jump of 23 feet, 3 1/2 inches, which was right behind current world champion Brittany Reese.
