ALEXANDRIA, La. - The funeral services for 62-year-old Darrell Guillory took place Monday morning at Horseshoe United Methodist Church.
Guillory served as Sheriff Chuck Wagner's chief deputy and spent years at the sheriff's department and with state police.
Guillory had been on leave from the department as he battled pancreatic cancer for several months.
Wagner said Guillory was a major asset to the department and helped make RPSO what it is today.
